Was Jesus a Buddhist?

                         Was jesus a Buddhist?  The question is not whether Jesus was a Buddhist, but rather the extent to which he was influenced by buddhism. There are numerous textual amd archeological evidence suggesting that jesus had connection to buddhist teachings. Notabily numismatic evidence, allegedly  held by a british museum, support this claim, though it not publicly displayed.   The evidence follows two independent lines: The first is historical, and the second is textual. Historical evidence suggested that Jesus was well acquainted with Buddhism. If Jesus did not travel to India, it is plausible that indian influences reached Judea and impacted his teachings. Takht-e-bahi : 2100 year old Buddhist monastery

The Buddhist monastic complex of Takht-e-bahi was founded in the early 1st century. The Buddhist ruins of Takht-e-bahi and neighboring city remains at sahri-i-bahlol are one of the most imposing relics of Buddhism in gandhara region of Pakistan. Owing to its location on the crest of a high hill, it escaped successive invasions and is still exceptionally well preserved. Nearby are the ruins of sahri-i-bahlol, a small fortified city dating from the same period. monastery positioned on various hilltops ranging from 36.6 m to 152.4m in height, typical for Buddhist sites. It is covered an area of around 33 hectare. Takht-e-bahi is an ancient Buddhist site in mardan, pakistan. The ruins was located about 15 km from Mardan in Pakistan's Khyber- pakhtunkhaw province.
