Was Jesus a Buddhist?

                                   was jesus a Buddhist? 

The question is not whether Jesus is a Buddhist. There is numerous reliable evidence textually and among archeological remains that he was. Most convincingly numismatic evidence the British museum is hiding.

 The evidence follows two independent lines-- the first is historical, and the second is textual. Historical evidence betokens that Jesus was well acquainted with Buddhism. If Jesus did not go to India, then at least India went to Judea(Judah) and Jesus. The authentic historical question is not is he studied Buddhism, but where and how much he studied Buddhism ,especially during his so called  "lost years.". the similarities are so striking that even is no  historical evidence exist we can suspect the Jesus studied Buddhist teaching and that the prophecy and legend of Jesus was derived from Buddhist stories. According to legend, Jesus, the great Jewish sage, spent his "lost years", form between the ages of around 12 to 29, in India, where per another tradition he also escaped after surviving the crucifixion.

In the late 19 century a Russian traveler  Nicolas Notovitch  asserted in 1887, while he traveled extensively throughout India, Tibet, and Afghanistan. During his voyages he broke his leg, he recuperated at Tibetan Buddhist monastery of hemis in ladakh  A monk showed a large volume of documents written in Tibetan, entitled the life of Issa. The Issa text for notovitch form a Tibetan monk alleged that during his lost years Jesus was educated by yogis In the India, Nepal and Himalaya mountains.

Buddhist texts often refer to Jesus as Issa-Masih while Muslims call him yusu-Masih or a similar variation. One record of Jesus' sermons in Kashmir is found in Bhavishya-maha-purana which was authored by sutta in 115 CE. Another record the tarikh-i-kashmir was written later by a muslim scholar maned Mulla Nadri who referred of jesus as yuz-Asaph Additionally a muslim account by al sheikh-al-said-us- sadiq is documented in Ikmal-ud-din Another historical reference of jesus in kashmir can be found in the work of Kalhana, which dated back to around 1148 CE in this text, jesus is called Isana described "as the great guru" who impressed of king samdhi-mati. A Persian account of Jesus in India was written around 9000 CE by al shaikh said-us-sudiz and is titled mamal-ud-din.

                                          furthermore the apocalypse of peter mentions jesus sitting at one of the ten pillars erected in India by emperor Ashoka: "as the savior was sitting in the temple in the three hundredth year of convent and the agreement of tenth pillar". Additionally a passage from a devotional piece called song of yogi by Natha yogas states my friend Ishai has gone towards Arabia. A verse in purana also highlights having found the sacred image of Eeshai my name will be established  on the earth as Eesha masiah. 

researchers find that Jesus was in India with Peter at the 13 edict of Emperor Ashoka. The apocalypse of peter discovered in 188687  at akhmim in upper egypt now in the egyptian museum in cairo has a controversial opening verse that states that jesus sat on edict  erected by Ashoka on his tenth year of reign.

There is a  numismatic vestige of Jesus in buddhist robes showing its palm and feets in nail marks among the forge discovered in punjab. unfortunately the british museum does not exhibit the forge where the engraving of jesus but where king kanishka is portrayed on the other side. There is a single gold forge of kanishka with jesus in Buddhist robes showing the nail mark in his palm and his feet.
